Grassroots Artists thrilled to be staying at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel !!

The Artists for this years Grassroots Festival are being put up in the stunning waterfront hotel the Radisson Blu in Jersey. The artists are said to be extremely happy the hotel of choice for the 2011's festival and they can expect gorgeous views, sumptuous breakfasts and super friendly staff to welcome them.

Grassroots wins 2010 CIM Award

Congratulations are in order! In October each year a panel of marketing experts meet to judge the submissions of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Awards in Jersey. On Friday 17th November at the Hotel de France, The Grassroots Team attended the CIM Awards, these are amongst the most competitive in this field and are a highly sought after award. “Your Grassroots Festival with Soul “ was presented with the 2010 CIM Award for Best Use of PR.

Last act confirmed....

Neil Halstead, signed to Jack Johnson's record label Brushfire Records will be performing at this year's Grassroots Festival.

Described by Time Out Magazine as 'One of Britain's greatest songwriters', Halstead's music is welcoming, warm , clever and thoughtful. NME said of his lyrics ' the kind of honest, heartfelt love songs men are too scared or too cool to write these days'.

Gallery Magazine presents..... FAVELA FUNK !!!

Join Gallery at Grassroots Eco Music Festival on July 31st for 11 hours of Brazilian Beats featuring the skills of the Mr Bongo Soundsystem.

The Mr Bongo Soundsystem specialises in bringing the sound of favela funk to dancefloors around the world. They've traveled to Tokyo, New York, Ibiza, Brazil and much of mainland Europe and guested at events at the Millenium Dome in London, MTV EMEA Parties in Portugal, The Big Chill festival and many more.

Another world class act announced!

Boutique Eco Music Festival, Grassroots, has just revealed another world class act in the amazing line up of their July 2010 event. Rhombus In Dub, a New Zealand dub band, will be joining the line up which also features the hugely popular Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Toronto’s Bedouin Soundclash, platinum selling Jose Gonzalez, Tom Frager & Gwayav and Natty.
